Rexburg Trip - Thursday and Friday

Last Thursday afternoon we drove to Rexburg Idaho.
Sean's younger sister, Andrea and her husband Brandon, live there and are getting ready to move.
So we went to visit them before they head out to Louisville Kentucky later this summer.
We got to Rexburg just as the sun was setting.

We met Andrea and Brandon at G's Dairy Delights.
A local ice cream shop right by our old apartment.

Friday morning while the grown ups got ready for the day, Brandon entertained the kids.

That morning we drove around town.
Here's the girls in front of the hospital where they were born.

Then we headed to campus.
They put these trees and a little stream in the middle of the Taylor Quad.

Some pictures from inside the remodeled Manwaring Center (MC)...

The cafeteria is gigantic!

There are so many places to sit and study and hang out.
We even found a pool table, ping pong table and air hockey table in the middle of the building.

The sky bridge from the MC to the library.

Inside the new I Center...

A smaller version of the conference center in Salt Lake.
If I remember correctly, this one holds 12,000-14,000.

Blurry but you get the idea.

Then we walked through The Gardens.

After lunch we headed to the duck pond.
Eli was so excited!

Then we headed to the local farmer's market.
We tried samples and looked at all the crafts.

After that we headed back to Andrea and Brandon's apartment and had dinner.
Then we hung out outside.

One of Andrea's neighbors brought her dog over and Eli was in heaven.

That night we hung out and watched a movie after the kids went to bed.
