This is my last soccer blog post!

Wahoo! We're done.
Now we have our Monday, Tuesday  and Wednesday nights back 

and our Saturday mornings too.

Videos From Avery's Soccer Season

Here's some videos I took of Avery in action (in no particular order).

In this first video, Avery is the soccer player in the light blue jacket watching the ball from a distance.

Avery (#7) is following Halle (#6) instead of the ball.

Michelle and Sean's commentary in this next video say it all.

And I love Lexi's commentary in this video.

You get the idea. Avery didn't go for the ball and she had a fun time on the field playing with Halle.

Soccer Sisters

 Here's a few pictures I snapped of the girls before their last soccer games.

Avery is at the age of weird forced smiles.

I love that I had these two so close together.

I hope that they are always best friends.

 Here's some pictures I took of Avery at her soccer games the last few weeks.

Avery is 10 months younger than her cousin Halle.

These two girls were fun to watch together on the field.

It was the first time they both had played soccer and they seemed to care more about holding hands 

and chasing each other than the ball. 

#3 wanted to hold their hands too.

 Reading a book together while they were on the sidelines.

Avery never got into the pack of kids and the ball.

She kept her distance just like Lexi did last year.

The season started later this year so the last few 9 am Saturday morning games were chilly.

I love the view from the soccer fields.

It gets really windy at the fields because it's up and the hill and there are no trees.

Eli wasn't a fan of just sitting in the stroller. He wanted to get out and explore.

Pictures From The Rest of Lexi's Soccer Season

 Lexi gain more confidence as the season progressed.

She touched the ball more each game.

Here she is getting into the pack of kids and kicking the ball.

She is #3 and her cousin Parker is #6.

The season was later this year than last year.

And most of Lexi's Tuesday night games were at 6:30.

So, by the time the games were ending, the sun was setting.

Sean and my brother-in-law Justin coached a couple of the kids' games

 while their coach, Hillary, was out of town.

Parker gets really into the game.

He's running his heart out in this next picture and Lexi is just watching him, with an expression that says, "What's he getting all excited about?"

The last few games have been chilly.

It's always windy at the soccer complex.

Here's my cute nephew Austin all bundled up.

The ref gave the ball to the wrong team and Parker was the only kid who notice.

He really pays attention to the details of the game.

 These two cousins are cute together.

It's been fun watching them on the field.
