Christensen Reunion Weekend 2014

The week we got back from Washington

 was also the same week as the Christensen reunion here in Utah.

Thursday night, my in-laws and Michelle and Justin and their kids came over for dinner.

Then we did birthday presents.

Halle, Parker and me and Lexi had all had birthdays since we'd last been together.

The girls were so excited to give Halle a matching outfit so they could all be triplets.

Aren't they adorable?!

 

 

 

Friday night, Andrea and Brandon came down from Rexburg

and Jared and Val along with their kids and Josh came too.

We just hung out that night. I wasn't great about taking pictures.

Saturday morning we caravanned up to the reunion which was in Farr West again.

We hadn't been to a reunion in two years. (It was the weekend Sean injured his shoulder.) 

I brought a few activities for the kids to do. But it was really hot. Really hot.

So thank heavens they had the giant blow up water slide again.

 



 

I didn't realize that the slip-in-slide was a regular thing so I didn't bring swimsuit for my kids.

After a quick trip to Walmart they were ready and the girls were all matching.

 



 

 

I tried to take lots of water slide pictures but it was just too hot to stand out there with my camera.

And Devin still makes so awesome faces when he's excited and having fun.

 

 

Halle is so teeny that she got some good air.

 

 

Avery loved and hated the water slide. Haha.

Then there was the traditional softball game. I thought playing out there in the heat looked miserable. I just I'm just not hardcore. I wasn't born a Christensen after all.

Lyla wanted to go see the cows. And Eli decided that he wanted to join Lyla and Val.

I was too hot to go with him. So I just let him catch up on his own.

 

 

After the reunion we headed to our pool to cool off which is what this pregnant lady needed!

After swimming we headed back to Michelle and Justin's house for dinner.

I snapped a few pictures of Garth playing with the boys.

 

 

 

 

That night we hang out in the backyard and then played games while the kids watched a movie.

They are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this month. Man, a decade goes by fast.
