Avery's Preschool Field Trip - Discovery Gateway

Avery's last preschool field trip was to the children's museum in Salt Lake City.
She and Eli had fun running around exploring and playing.
I had my work cut out for me watching them both at the same time.
I tried to capture them having fun on camera but they had no interest in getting their picture taken.
Luckily, Ruby was an angel baby and just napped in her stroller.
My pictures are all out of order but you get the idea they had fun.
I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Now I just need to blog about Avery's preschool graduation
and then we'll just be waiting for her to start kindergarten!

Avery's Preschool Field Trip - Wheeler Farms

Avery's final preschool field trip was to Wheeler Farms.
Eli was so excited seeing all the animals.
He had no desire to stay with Avery's class.
He just wanted to run to each new animal as quick as he could.
Luckily, the field trip wasn't too structured.
The weather was a bit windy but we all had fun.
Ruby just slept in her stroller most of the time.

I was impressed with the Blacksmith.
It's amazing how to molded and formed that metal to make links In a chain.

Surprisingly, Eli didn't love the hay ride.
He freaked out a little when we started moving and just wanted to be held.

Avery's Preschool Field Trip - Wheeler Farms

Avery stopped going to class when we moved
but we are still going to be going to her last two field trips and preschool graduation.
Last month, her class went to Wheeler Farms.
It was a chilly windy day but the kids still had fun, especially Eli.
He loved seeing all the animals but he wasn't so interested in staying in the tour guide.
I tried to take pictures but didn't get that many good ones
since I was pushing a stroller and chasing Eli most of the time.

Avery's Preschool Field Trip to the Fire Station

Last week, Avery's class went on a field trip to the local fire station.
I just knew Eli would love this field trip.
He even slept in his fire truck pajamas the night before, which was his choice.
And he wore his fire chief jacket.
I tried to take pictures but between keeping Eli with the class and having Ruby strapped to me,
 it was a little difficult.

Eli wasn't a fan of this man putting him up in the truck.

Eli just loved looking at the vehicles. And I know he is going to love looking at these pictures.

Avery informed me that she's standing next to her boyfriend in this next picture.

Eli was TERRIFIED of the fire fighter when he put on his gear.
He started bawling and running towards me scream, "Mommy, hold you! Mommy, hold you!"
That's why he says when he wants to be held.
I think it's because I will ask him, "Do you want me to hold you?"

Avery's class learned this cute song that they sang for the fire fighters.

9-1-1 Song
(Sung to the tune of "This Old Man")

9-1-1, 9-1-1,
Press the buttons, 9-1-1
If you're hurt and scared
and you don't know what to do
9-1-1 sends help to you.
