D.I. Date Night

Two weekends ago, we went on a double date with our friends Tom and Lindsay.

We went out to eat and enjoyed good food and great company.

Then we decided to go to the D.I. to took for fun outfits to wear.

(Like we used to do in high school and college.)

The guys found outfits really easily.

I on the other hand had to really search since there isn't a huge maternity selection to choose from.

Lindsay and I each tried on 10 different outfits and laughed the whole time.

I'm pretty sure the outfit I got was Mrs. Brady's nightgown back in the seventies.

After that we went and got ice cream in our new clothes.

We got lots of stares. We thought it was pretty fun.

We finished off the night taking a few pictures to document the evening.

Our First Ballet

  Back in February, Lexi and I were given two tickets to

the Ballet West performance of The Sleeping Beauty.

We rode the TRAX downtown.

 

None of us had ever been to a ballet before.

At first, I wasn't sure if I should take Lexi or Avery with me.

Aurora is Avery's favorite princess

but this isn't wasn't the Disney version of the story so I wasn't sure if she'd like it.

After the show we went on stage to meet some of the cast and see some of the props.
