The last two weeks of August, Lexi was off track. She's also off track this week.
She'll go back to school next week.
So we been trying to soak up the last little bit of summer.
The kids and I decided to go to Daybreak one day.
Our first stop was the temple.
On the drive there, I asked the girls what their favorite thing about the temple is.
Avery said the flowers.
Lexi said her favorite thing is that it's the House of God.
That was a proud parent moment for me.
As soon as we saw the temple, the girls sang, "I love to see the temple."
It's one of Avery's favorite primary songs.
As soon as Eli saw the temple he got excited. He kept saying, "bobble, bobble."
He cried when we left.
He's so spiritual.
This is so Avery.
You can see the Draper temple across the valley.
And from another angle you can see the Jordan River temple.
Next we went to the lake.
It was kind of an overcast day.
It was perfect for being outside and just getting our feet wet.
I love these pictures of my happy free spirited Avery Joy.
Avery found a dinosaur in the sand. She was pretty excited about it.
Next we went to Soda Row and check out a bakery that I've been wanting to go to.
A friend of mine gave me some pastries from there once and they were amazing.
The desserts were yummy but expensive!
The kids thought it was an awesome lunch.
