Lexi decided to run for student body council.
She ran for sectary.
She wanted to do a Harry Potter themed campaign.
So we took pictures and made posters.
We even made her a few shirts.
She wrote her own speech.
She was so nervous.
I was so nervous for her too.
When I picked her up after school on election day, she had the biggest smile on her face.
SHE WON!!!
Her friend Lawsen won too.
He's the student body president.
To celebrate we got milkshakes and french fries.
She kept saying that it was the best day of her life.
Soon after that, it was time for the classroom rep elections.
Avery decided to run.
We made a poster for her classroom and she wrote a speech.
Last year Lexi was a rep and this year Lexi is a student body officer.
This only made Avery want to be a rep even more.
There were two positions available in Avery's class.
Among other kids, Avery's two best friends ran against her.
Her two friends won.
Avery was crushed!
I was heartbroken for her.
But I was so proud of her.
She has a good heart and she's a tough girl and this will only make her stronger.
