Back in November, just after Thanksgiving, Sean and I got called to meet with the Stake President.
Sean was asked to be the new Elder's Quorum President in our ward.
That week he prayed and met with the Bishop and decided on his counselors.
Then they submitted the names to the stake.
By the time they were approved, the current E.Q.P.
was out of town for a few weeks for the Christmas Break.
And since they wanted to release him in person, they waited to call Sean.
Finally at the beginning on January on the 10th, Sean was set apart.
...
The previous president had the calling for about 4-5 years.
I think Sean will probably have the calling for that long.
If he is the E.Q.P. for five years, that means he'll get release after Eli is baptized!
That's really weird to think about!
...
I know that Sean will do a great job.
He is excited about his calling. I know he'll love the social aspect of it.
After serving in Primary since May, he's excited to get to know some more people in our ward.
He also has great counselors. They're going to have a lot of fun serving together.
I'm so proud of Sean. He's such a good example to our children.
They are so lucky to have him as their father and friend.
