Avery's Half Birthday

 Avery's half birthday was on October 28th.

She was over the moon excited.

Everyday for the entire month of October

 she kept asking me how many days is was until her half birthday.

She had an awesome day.

It was her last day of school before a four day weekend and Halloween,

so her class had their Halloween party.

Then after school, several of her friends came over for lunch.

Once Lexi got home she got to open her present.
We did a scavenger hunt to find her gift per Avery's request.
I did that at Lexi's birthday and the girls loved it. Maybe I'll make it a new tradition?

Avery got a new bike!

 

We normally do small presents on Half Birthdays but

Avery has been needing a new bike and this was on sale.

Plus I didn't want to wait until Christmas to give it to her when she wouldn't be able to ride it outside.

She was SOOOOO excited!

Sean and I love getting Avery new things because she's so grateful

and because she usually just gets Lexi's hand-me-downs.

 



That afternoon we had cupcakes. Avery helped me make them.

 



All the kids wanted to decorate their own cupcake.

 



After dinner (Spaghetti which was Avery's choice) and dessert

the girls went with me to mutual.

The Young Women were having a Halloween party.
