It started snowing on Christmas Eve
(And hasn't stopped since).
I was excited to have a white Christmas.
Here's our attempt to get a family picture on Christmas Eve...
And here's the girls with the presents we let them open on Christmas Eve.
Lexi got a Curious George stuffed animal and Avery got a Minnie Mouse one.
That night we headed down to South Jordan to my Grandpa's and his wife Penny's house.
Penny loves to cook and started cooking two days before Christmas Eve.
She made enough food for at least 40 people and there were only 13 of us there.
That meant we got lots of left overs.
Me and my Grandpa.
Me and Grandpa and Penny.
Penny made all of us scarves (well not Eli, he got socks).
I wish I would have got a picture of the girls in their own scarves
but here's a cute one of Avery modeling a grown up scarf.
Eli got lots of attention...
Here's Eli with my aunt Robin.
And here are the girls at 6:40 on Christmas morning.
They woke up to find I had put up a baby gate in the hall.
Before the girls could head into the living room Sean had the yule log playing on Netflix.
And I had to get my camera ready, of course.
When the girls came into the living room they saw this...
They were so excited about all their new Little People.
We played with them for a long time before opening anything.
Here's baby Jesus with some farm animals...
Lexi got a fairy nightgown and dress-up dress and fairy Barbies and miniature fairy figurines.
Avery got a Minnie Mouse night gown and dress-up dress and ears.
She also got two Minnie Mouse stuffed animals (One from us and one from my parents.)
Avery is such a loving big sister.
She shared her Minnies with Eli.
Sean asked me for this Seattle Mariners hat.
And I surprised him with this Washington Huskies hat too.
The girls got two reams of paper and new markers and crayons.
We played a lot with blocks that morning.
We made fairy house and princess castles and homes for all their animals.
And Sean helped the girls make tall towers and cities.
Here's Avery playing with her fairies in her doll house.
And of course a family picture (with none of the kids looking).
It was another great Christmas at the Christensen house!
