October 2016 - Eli's Birthday

On October 16th, our favorite little boy turned four years old.
It was a very busy day.
This was the day that I hit the 12 week mark in my pregnancy
and we told just the kids that I was expecting. (I'll share more about that in my next post.)
It was a Sunday and we traveled to attend a baby blessing for twins of a very dear friend.
Before we left for church that morning we let Eli open one present.

And I snapped a few pictures of him before we left.

For dinner that night we had some of Eli's favorite foods, Mac-n-Cheese, Little Smokies and jello.

Here's Eli wearing the Fire Fighter outfit that he got for his birthday.
We had chocolate cupcakes with orange frosting for dessert.

A few days later we took Eli in for his check up.
Sean and I both went and Eli loved all the attention.
He loved talking to all the staff at the clinic.
He is very social.

I can't find where I wrote down his stats but he's near the top of the charts still.
He's 43 lbs and 42 inches. Or was it 42 lbs and 43 inches?
We decided to give all our kids flu shots for the first time because I am pregnant.
Eli also received all the immunizations that he'll need for kindergarten.
He was so brave. He had no idea what was coming.
During his first shot he just look shocked.

We promised him popcorn and pop from the gas station on the way home and he was so excited.

I sure love this boy!
