Today we got a package in the mail from my parents.
Inside this package was a dress for Lexi.
Not just any dress.
The dress of Lexi's dreams!
Lexi first saw this dress several weeks ago at Costco.
She's been saving her money for a few weeks now so she could buy it.
(I'll do another post later about our new "Family Economy"
and how we give Lexi opportunities to earn and save and spend.)
My mom told us that when she saw this particular dress she instantly thought of Lexi.
She said it just looked like a dress Lexi would love.
Boy was she right!
Lexi could NOT wait to put it on and twirl.
The look on her face is pure joy!
One of the most important things to Lexi is looking elegant and fancy.
It is important that Lexi's dress twirl good. And this dress passed the test!
When we were on the way home from the mail box Lexi excitedly told me
that one of her wishes and dreams is coming true.
I asked her what her dreams were and she told me that getting this dress was one, another was buying a house and the third was a baby sister named Sadie.
Well we are planning on buying a house this year so that will happen.
I told her we'd just have to wait and see if Heavenly Father sends us a little sister next.
We bought that dress for Addie a few weeks ago. It is a great twirling dress.
