Happy Half Birthday

I can't believe it's been one, two, three, four, five and now six months since Eli was born!

Sean and I never know when to stop feeding Eli.
We usually just stop after we've fed him 3 or 4 bowls of food.
He is just such a willing little eater.

Eli grabs anything that he can.
He has busy little hands.

I've been going to a weekly Zumba class and taking the girls to play at the Library once a week too.
Eli will just sit in his stroller and watch.
He never cries.

Eli always sleeps on his side or tummy.

I bought Eli some soft baby puffs and crackers last week.
And he does pretty good eating them.

Eli's new trick is sucking on his toes.
He does it all the time now.

Eli naps 3 times a day.

Sean and I both agree and Eli is looking like he is starting to thin out a bit.

Eli wears size 4 diapers.

Eli is still just a laid back little man.
He really puts up with a lot from his sisters.
Avery's new favorite thing to do is sit on top of Eli when he's laying on the floor and "ride" him.
The other day she even said, "Yee Haw!"

Eli is a big time momma's boy.
If he can see me he almost always wants me.
He will look at him and whimper and lean his body towards me.

We got a bunch of hand-me-downs from my cousin.
Eli got several new collared shirts which I was thrilled about.
One of them was a Hawaiian shirt.
When I saw it I instantly thought of my dad.

Eli eats peas, green beans, squash, yams, pears, applesauce, prunes, rice cereal, oatmeal (his favorite, he could eat 4 servings of it), and he sucks on frozen strawberries, and "chews" on bananas.

He is rolling all over the place.
He ends up all over the living room and gets stuck against the walls and furniture.

Eli isn't able to sit up yet on his own.

Eli is starting to get a little more vocal.
He can scream pretty loud now.
He does happy squeals a lot.
But he is definitely not as much of a talker as the girls at this age.

Eli pulls his sisters hair whenever they are near him.

Eli's short little legs are almost too long for most of his 12 month pants.
He wears almost all 18 month clothes now.

He still doesn't sleep through the night.
He still nurses 2-3 times. He's hungry, I guess.

Eli started really teething a few weeks ago.
He was running high fevers for days and was miserable.
But no teeth ever cut through.
And now he's not running a fever anymore.

Eli loves watching Sean play ukulele.

I consider Eli to be the perfect baby!
I thank Heavenly Father for sending him to me.
I couldn't be more in love with this little man!
