October 2018 - The Pirate House

We went to the Pirate House in October. This house is incredible!
There is a full size ship in the front yard.

And there is a huge western style village built in the backyard.
It's so fun walking for room to room seeing all the decorations.

These pictures are all lousy but I wanted to share them anyway.
Our old Samsung Galaxy S7's don't take very good pictures, especially at night.

October 2018 - Picture Post

All of my October posts so far have been out of order.
Oh well. Here's all the random pictures that I took in October.
Avery was picked as the citizen of the month for her class.

These girls worked hard on practicing for our primary contest, "Eastland Singing with the Stars."
The advanced to the finals.
Here they are taking a break from practicing and playing in the yard.

Here's the girls preforming their final song.
The took second in the competition.

I took some pictures of my cute girls when we got home from church.
They look beautiful in their baptism dresses.

Here's Avery looking cute for school one day.

Back in August I decided to make some lifestyle changes.
I'll probably blog more about that later.
In October I hit a big milestone. I lost 25 lbs.
So I took a picture with a 25 lb bag of sugar to document my weight loss.

Remember when Eli picked off his mole in the middle of night?
Well it kept bleeding. Multiple times at school he bled all over his shirt and got sent to the office.
So I took him to a dermatologist. By that point though he was mostly healed up.
But I just wanted to get everything check out.
The doctor's office that we went to had the cutest little secret room for kids in the waiting room.

Avery likes to sleep in this shirt that used to belong to my dad.

We went to the Greenwoods for Friday night pizza and movie.

We watched Ghost Busters.

Here's a few pictures from General Conference weekend.

Avery got to go to her first Women's Conference.

I took the girls to Cold Stone after to get a treat.

Here's my attempts to document the some of my good make up days.

Lexi made another poster for her class.
Several teachers complimented Lexi on her posters.
She's pretty sure that she could make them and sell them.

Here's Ruby smelling the roses outside the kindergarten classrooms.

Here's Eli just looking handsome before school one day.

Lexi finished the final Harry Potter book. After this she quickly read the Cursed Child.

For letter L show and tell day at preschool, Ruby brought a picture of Lexi.

Ty realized that he LOVES toothbrushes and started constantly trying to pull them out of the draw.

I went to the school one day and found Eli's picture in the office on the wall.

My hair looked particularly red one day.

Look how cute my little shopping buddy is.

Lexi got a new set of scriptures. She was so excited to finally have tabs.

Here's a talk that Eli gave in primary one week.

After the Harry Potter series, Lexi started reading the Land of Stories.
She LOVES this series.

Here's some pictures from Crazy Hair Day.

Lexi had a little purple left in her hair the next day which she was excited about.

Since we get free lunch at our school, my kids never have home lunch.
Eli asked for it a couple times and finally I made him a home lunch.
(It was pajama day at school that day.)

I can't get enough of this sweet baby.

Sleeping Ruby.

Drawing Ruby. This girl loves to draw, just like all her older siblings.

I took these pictures one night while we were trying to do scripture study.
I can laugh about them now but at the time, I kept wonder why we even bother.

It was twin day at school.

Avery and Reagan twined at school. And here they are making an Anika sandwich.

Lexi and Carrie love baking together.

We had lots of friends over this day. The girls gave each other make overs.

I introduced the girls to the art of making collages.

A guy in our ward took all the kids for rides on his three wheeled motorcycle.

For dressed up like what you want to be when you grow up day, Eli picked this outfit.
He told me that he wanted to be a football player and asked me to draw the lines on his face.

Poor Ruby burned her arm on a cookie sheet.

Here's some pictures I took before church on the day of the primary program.

Since Sean teaches the 10 and 11 year old class, he was on the stand.
So it was his first program since he was a kid.
It was also Ruby's first program.
