November 2016 - Thanksgiving

This year our plans for Thanksgiving was to go to Sean's cousin's house.
The night before Thanksgiving, I made two apple pies and Sean made two pumpkin pies.
Our plan was eat take one of each pie to share and keep one of each at home to eat.

That night we ate pie.
Sean loves pie! It's one of his favorite foods.

The morning of Thanksgiving, Lexi threw up and her stomach hurt.
So we canceled our plans and decided to stay home.
Sean went to the store to get some food for dinner.
Sean bought the last thawed whole chicken and the last bag of rolls.

The chicken was delicious! Sean did such a good job!

Sean and I did a great job putting together Thanksgiving dinner in a few hours.

Luckily, Lexi felt better as the day progressed.
The kids had a fun time playing in the backyard.

That night we set up and decorated the tree in the living room.

November 2016 - Quick Photo Shoot with the Kids

Last month before it snowed, I decided to take the kids outside and snapped a few pictures of them.
It had been a while since I had used my real camera to take portraits of them.
It was a quick photo shoot.
I was just hoping to get a nice shot of each kid.
I ended up with a few good ones.

November 2016 - Picture Post

I'm blogging about November finally. That's last month! I'm so close to being caught up.
...
Here are my kiddos before church one Sunday.

Last month was the Primary Program.
All the kids wrote their own parts.
Here's a picture of Lexi's part.

I finally organized the downstairs closet.

Eli was so upset one day because he had grown out of his white BYU shirt.

So I gave him one of Sean's to wear.

I can't remember Ruby eating a pickle before this.
So I took a picture in case this was her first time.

I think it's the cutest thing when they read together.

I teach art in Lexi's class every month.
Each month every class in the whole school learns about a new artist and one of their masterpieces.
At the end of the school year their will be an art show displaying their favorites.

We finally got snow. Our first snow storm we got seven inches.
Our next two storms we got three and four inches.

Before then Ruby had never been in the snow.
And she didn't remember seeing it last year either.
Last winter she wasn't even walking.
She was so confused and interested.

Eli really wanted to play in the snow with his dad.
And he wanted to build a snowman but the snow was a day old and now good for snowmen.

Here's evidence that Sean would throw a snowball at me...

They threw snowballs at the Hansen's when they dropped the girls off.

Eli didn't like it when he got hit by a snowball.

Here's Sean on the morning of his half birthday.

He's pretending that he doesn't know what he's getting.
(He told me exactly what to buy him.)

That day Sean and Lexi went to the BYU game.

I finished Christmas crafts from last year and started new ones.

Ruby decided that she's big enough to sit on the bar stools at the counter.

A neighbor gave us an old dog house. We gave it to Shadow.
We still need to fix it up.

We got a projector light for our house.

Eli loves matching his dad.

My belly continues to grow.

We made paper snowflakes during FHE.

Our neighbor's bunny had babies. They are the cutest things ever!

We had a lot of sickness in our family at the end of November.
