Our family spent several afternoons exploring Snohomish,
the cute little town that Sean lived in his entire life before his mission.
One afternoon, we walked along the Snohomish River.
This boat was in this same spot the entire time we were in Washington.
This is a little house built under the train tracks. There is even a little staircase.
We walked down First street and looked at all the shops.
We went inside the Pegasus, Sean and I used to go there when we were in high school.
It's an antique shop like many of the stores in Snohomish.
(Snohomish is the antique capital of the northwest.)
Lexi found these owl mugs and tea set at a tea store. She wanted them, of course.
After walking around we got shakes at the Pilchuck Drive-In and took them to Hill Park.
The kids wanted to explore Blackman's Lake.
Another afternoon we went and got some Niko's Teriyaki on Avenue D.
(It's still just as delicious as ever!)
We ate it at Pilchuck park.
Then we went and waded in the Pilchuck River.
The kids loved it!
My swollen pregnant feet found the water so refreshing.
Lesson learned, the kids will always get wet, really wet, when there is water of any kind.
So I need to always have swimsuits and towels in the van during the summer.
These people are my world!
Eli was so excited to see a dog.
I love that we are creating memories where ever we go.
