Vegas Vacation 2014 - Part 1

Last month we went down to Vegas for a long Easter weekend.
We drove there Thursday night after Lexi got done with school and got there late that night.
Friday the fun began!
Eli had fun exploring the house.

These girls were so excited to be together.

We went to a awesome park.
The kids had so much fun and it was overcast, the perfect park weather.

Devin was so sweet with Eli. He loves that baby!

Progression of Eli going down the slide...

I love these two together. They melt my heart.

Val had some fun crafts for the kids.
She entertained them all while I laid on the couch feeling a bit tired and nauseous.

Val made the kids a homemade bubble concoction.  And they loved it.

My Excuse For Everything...

I'm pregnant!

That's why I haven't blogged in weeks.
Why I am always in pajamas right now and never have make up on.
Why my the dishes are never done and there are five loads of laundry that need to be washed.
And why Sean has been cooking dinner most nights.
...
This has been my hardest pregnancy.
I have felt awful this past month.
I hit the 13 week mark this Thursday.
Luckily nausea isn't constant anymore. It comes and goes now.
So I'm hoping that means that it's going away.
...
I am due on November 27th, which is Thanksgiving day.
My girls are beyond excited. We talk about the baby all the time.
We have an ultrasound scheduled for June 5th, when I'm 15 weeks along, to find out the gender.
That's probably when we will announce that we're pregnant on Facebook.
So now I'll know who reads my blog by who knows I'm pregnant.

Having a Photographer in the Family is Awesome and My Kids are Adorable!

Last month we went down to Vegas for a few days to see Sean's brother Jared and his family.
We always have so much fun with them.
And they are great host.
That's reason enough to visit them.
But top it off, my sister-in-law, Val, has a little photography studio in their house.
She was kind enough to take some updated pictures of my kids.
She also let us borrow bows and dresses for the girls since the outfits I packed,
my girls wore outside and played with the hose in.

Avery is my most difficult child to photograph.
She just whines and complains the whole time like she's being tortured.
But Val with the help of my niece Adalynn managed to get Avery to look and smile at the same time!

Eli is just naturally adorable and has the cutest little grin.
He was the easiest the work with.

I said, "Welcome to the Christensen Family Home Evening. YAY!"
And Eli raised his hands just like we do before FHE each week.

Doesn't he look like a little missionary?

Thank you, thank you, thank you Val!
This pictures are amazing.
