In addition to seeing our parents,
we were able to see other family and lots of friends while we were in Washington.
My good friend Opal happened to be in Washington when we were.
So she came over to my parents' house for dinner one night.
Opal was like another sister for my brother.
Sean's brother Josh visiting from LA so we got to spend a little time with him.
One afternoon we met Josh and Sean's dad at China Garden for lunch.
On night, the girls had fun chasing Josh around in the backyard.
I try to take pictures but sometimes no one is in the picture taking mood.
My aunt Cindy came to visit while we were there.
I love my aunt Cindy! She's one of the best cooks I know.
She always has taken the time to talk to us kids and make us feel noticed and important.
And she's a little bit ornery, it runs in the family.
Cindy was adopted and on a good day she's 5'1''. So she's tiny compared to the rest of our family.
Seeing her try to hold my children was kinda hilarious.
Whenever we are around my aunt Lisa,
she gets pictures with my kids and sends them to my mom to make her jealous.
So Cindy wanted to take pictures with my kids and send them to Lisa to make her jealous.
One afternoon we met my friend Kaci at the children's museum in Everett.
She got an annual pass for Christmas along with several guest passes, so we got in for free.
Eli loved this train center. He kept coming back to it.
Sean had a blast in the dancing dark room.
We spent a lot of time in the farm area.
Poor Eli isn't a fan of his sisters' lovin.
Eli was really excited about this bus. Eli loves anything with wheels.
Eli and Avery really liked running around this tree in the middle of the museum.
Sean had fun building with these giant sized Lincoln Logs.
Lexi's favorite thing was this stage.
Kaci and her son, Jackson, worked the lights and sounds.
Lexi just loved going on stage and yelling, "Presenting Alexia Leah Christensen!"
Kaci and Jackson used trumpeting and clapping sound effects and Lexi was thrilled.
I just liked this map.
On the roof is a giant playground. The kids loved running around and playing.
My kids especially loved the misting water spraying to keep kids cool.
My kids got really wet.
Here's the one and only picture we took of me and Kaci.
It's always so fun to see old friends and catch up!
We should have taken pictures before my kids got all wet.
After that we wet to the water room.
My kids got drenched there! They acted like they were taking a shower.
One evening, Sean picked up Alfy's pizza,
and our friends the Greenwoods came over to my parents' house for dinner and to just hang out.
Their two girls are about my girls age.
Madi, Lexi, Avery and Marlie had so much playing outside on the slip-n-slide.
David who is the biggest kid of them all, got into a water fight with the girls.
Then the kids decided to wash our van.
David tried to give Lexi some advice. I hope she forgets everything he told her! Haha.
Sean Jr. with David Jr.
Future trouble right there.
Group picture.
It's so fun to hang out again and see our growing families.
We also go to see my uncle Ken.
We hung out with our awesome friend Jon Mercado several times but didn't take any pictures.
I saw my friend Nancy from high school. I actually ran into her at the Khol's in Snohomish.
And we were able to see so many people at church.
