A Child's Prayer

Yesterday, Lexi gave me this picture she made in church.
(It was all folded up, that's why there are those lines all over it.)
The lesson in her class was about prayers.
When we pray we should thank Heavenly Father for the blessings in our lives.
We are also able to ask him for the things that we desire.
Lexi's picture represents her prayers.
First, she thanks Heavenly Father for her sister Avery.
Then she asks Heavenly Father for a sister named Sadie and a sister named Ruby and a brother named Ezra.

11 1/2 Months Old

Mr. Eli is now 11 1/2 months old.
It's time to start thinking about his birthday, which is only 16 days away!
I'm envisioning cute pictures of him with frosting on his face.
...
Anyway, here are some pictures of Eli from the last few weeks.

I love his facial expressions in these next three pictures.

I already know that Avery and Eli are going to be good a getting into trouble together.
Last week I walked past the kitchen and saw this.
Avery was trying to find some food for her and Eli to eat for breakfast.

Here is Eli trying to get into the tub with Lexi.
I've got to keep my eye on this guy.
He's already fell out of the tub once while taking a bath doing this.

Poor Eli has been sicking this past week.
So he's been less playful.
I've found his just laying on the ground a lot recently.

The other day Eli was crawling around with this car, it's his favorite.

Lexi loves Sticky Notes. She is frequently putting them up on our walls.
Eli loves to come along and pull them down.

Eli loves fruit! When I buy it at the store he recognizes it and gets excited.

Eli is really good at pulling the books off the shelves.

And now some videos.
I love Eli's happy personality.

This video show how tough Eli is.

Here's Eli saying "mum mum."

Here's a video of Eli figuring out by himself how to play with his car.

Here's Eli doing one of his favorite things, making messes.

A few things I want to remember about Eli right now:
-Eli says "mum mum" usually when he's hungry.
-Eli still says "da."
-Eli has started saying "na na na" when he's tired. It think he's trying to say, "nurse/ night night."
-When I'm on the computer Eli will come stand next to the desk and grab the mouse or keyboard.
-Eli loves his Aiden & Anis blankies. He chews on the corners of them when he's falling asleep.
-Whenever Eli is in his room he will crawl to his crib and pull out his blankies.
-Eli wears 18 month to 2T clothes and size 5 diapers.
-Eli naps onces a day, while Lexi is at kindergarten.
-Eli loves toilet paper. He loves pulling it off the roll and ripping it into little pieces.
-Whenever I'm loading or unloading the dishwasher, Eli quickly comes and tries to play with the dishes.
-Eli will take a few steps to the side while holding onto the couch.
-Eli can take a few steps by himself with his walker.
-Eli doesn't like wearing socks. Whenever I put them on him he pulls them off.
-Eli loves to crawl around in the van while we waiting to pick up Lexi from school. He especially loves playing with the seat belts and pushing the stereo buttons.

...

For fun here are the blog posts I did about Lexi and Avery when they were 11 months old.

Videos of Lexi and Avery Around 11 Months Old

Eli is 11 1/2 months old now (I can't believe it!)
and I really need to share some recent pictures and videos of him.
But before I do, here are some videos of the girls when they were about his age.
...
First, I'll share a few videos of Miss Lexi.
Lexi wanted to walk and knew how to move her feet but she didn't even know how to crawl yet!

I love Lexi's little voice.

Lexi is so feisty in this next video.
She's all done eating and frustrating with me for not taking her out of her high chair fast enough.

Until she was 11 1/2 months old, Lexi just rolled to get where she wanted to go.
These next two videos are of Lexi when she first learned to crawl.
I just love how excited she is.

And now a few videos of Miss Avery.
I love Avery's laugh and excitement as she learns to walk with her little walker.

Here's Avery climbing up on Lexi's toddler bed, I think this was the first time she did that.

I love Avery's scrunching nose smiles and her little voice.

Here's Avery getting close to walking.
She's just so excited that she can't control her little body.

Avery loved music and dancing when she was a baby.

I am awful at taking videos, really I am.
I bring my camera with me frequently but I usually just take pictures.
I'm so grateful for the times I remember to take videos.
Watching these video clips today melted my heart.

Bear Lake - Driving Home & Stopping in Logan

This is my finally blog post about our Bear Lake adventures and my third blog post for the day.
First are some pictures I took as we were driving in the canyon between Bear Lake and Logan.
This is our last glimpse of the lake.

Last Sunday, the day we left Bear Lake was the first official day of fall.
Some of the trees have already started to change colors.

We drove around Utah State's campus, just to check it out.

And we checked out Romney Stadium.

This is a view of the temple from campus.

And then I wanted to drive by the temple one more time.

Here's a view of the temple from the tabernacle.

And here's the tabernacle.

Now Sean and I want to visit more old Tabernacles.

And that was our trip folks!

Bear Lake - Saturday at North Beach

We had such a fun time at North Beach on Friday that we went back on Saturday.
This time we brought swimsuits for the girls.
They had a blast!

You might want to turn down the volume on your speakers.
It was really windy so the videos I took are really loud.

Avery loved playing in the sand. She kinda reminds me of a puppy in this video.

Lexi took some pictures of me and Sean.
