Last night was our former ward's Soap Slide Party.
We had a great time.
Here's Lexi with her former CTR 4 teachers.
She LOVES Sister Schwab and Sister Johnston.
Avery wanted to get in on the picture taking action.
Someone had a kitten.
The girls timidly tried to touch it.
When it starting moving towards Avery she screamed and ran away.
Turns out my kids are the scaredy cats.
The party was at Jordan Ridge Park.
It was gorgeous.
We'll be going back for sure.
I have fallen in love with the mountains here.
Family picture to prove we were there.
Eli sat in the stroller and happily ate cookies while I took pictures
and Sean and the girls went down the soap slide.
Here's the slide.
It was huge!
Here's Sean going down with the girls.
One time was enough for Avery.
She wasn't a fan of the mud.
Sean and Lexi went several times together after that.
Lexi had a blast.
She was excited to go again and again.
Avery was happy to just stand on the side and play with the water and watch.
The sky was gorgeous. I just couldn't stop taking pictures.
Here's a video of the young men going down.
I didn't realize they were coming so I didn't get a good video
but you can see that they went really fast and got really muddy.
It really was such a gorgeous sunset.
I was so happy I had my camera with me.
I'm so excited about these picture I took of Sean and Eli.
I will be framing one of them for sure.
There was a table set up with several containers of candy.
The kids were all welcome to guess how much candy was in each container.
Who ever guessed the closet got the candy.
Here's a picture of Janessa, Jenna and Lexi.
They all won candy.
These girls will all be in the same kindergarten class.
Sean had a good time playing volleyball with the youth.
That night when Lexi went to bed she fell asleep before she even got into bed all the way.
She was exhausted!
I got up to check on the kids at 3 am and Lexi was just sleeping so cute.
So I took this picture of her.

I'm so sad you guys won't be in our ward anymore :(
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the picture of Sean holding up Eli, when Eli is looking a the camera and they are silhouetted by the sunset.
Great photos! This post totally reminded me of Garth and Kristi's reception!
