Apartment #710 - The Girls' Room

Before yesterday there wasn't a single thing up on our walls.
We're just now getting around to decorating.
It's fun to make our new place feel like home.
The first room we've focused on decorating is the girls' room.
It's not done yet but here's some pictures of what it looks like right now.
Their room is at the end of our first hall.

When you walk in the first thing you see is Lexi's bed.

I think I'm gonna hang up a bunch of picture above Lexi's bed on this wall.
Pictures of the temple and Christ and Lexi and family.

My mom is gonna help me make tulle nets with lights above the girls' beds like this.

I name too many trips to Target to get these curtains and rod.
First, I bought a purple set of curtains but decided that I wanted more contrast.
Then I bought these teal ones but accidentally bought two different sizes of panels.
And originally I bought a curtain rod that was too small.
I'm just happy to be done and I love how it looks.

Here's Avery's bed with her beloved sheep pillow and giraffe blankie.

I'm planning on doing a picture wall above Avery's bed too.

We took the doors off of their closet so it's always open.
And now we can have their dressers placed here and don't have to have their beds as bunk beds anymore.

Moving is a lot of work but it's been so worth it to live in a bigger place.
