Summer Bucket List - Going to the Jordan River Temple

We've been wanting to go the the Jordan River temple for a while now.
If we don't go in the morning before Eli's nap it has been too hot to go after.
Anyway, we finally made it there in the morning.
The girls were excited to go see the temple and smell all the flowers.
I was excited to go take pictures.

I plopped the kiddos down in the only spot in the shade in front of the temple.
There were a lot of cars driving by and people walking past us talking to the girls
(this temple is always busy, busy) so the kids were too distracted to look at me.
Oh well, if I keep trying, someday I'll get a frame-able picture of all my kids together.

Avery was looking at the temple and pointing to Moroni.

Lexi stood in the shade and all I could see was the owl on her dress.

Avery saying, "Shhh."
I had been reminding her to talk softly at the temple.

Lexi was so excited about this rose and asked me to take a picture of it for her.

Stopping to smell (in reality pick) the roses.

After we walked around the temple we walked to the Distribution Center
and I bought the girls some more temple pictures and pictures of Christ to put up in their room.
I think it's so important that they have those to look at.
So I'll buy them as many temple and Jesus pictures as they want.
...
We still need to go see the Salt Lake Temple this summer.
