Lexi's Fifth Birthday

 This year Lexi got to celebrate with her birthday with all six of her cousins.

Getting nine kids, ages seven and under, to all look and smile is impossible.

This is the best we could do...

 The morning of Lexi's birthday we went to the big park here in West Jordan.

Lexi loved swinging.

 She also really loved the flowers.

Here's my attempts to get pictures of the birthday girl.

I wasn't feel well that day so sadly I didn't take very many pictures.

Lexi was so excited for presents.

More than I think she ever has been.

 

She's been wanting a hula hoop.

 

And she's been dreaming of these Cinderella shoes for months.

She actually saved up her money to buy them and then when we went to Target we were told that 

they were being discontinued and that no stores in the valley even had them in her size.

I kept watching to see if they'd come in stock online and they didn't.

But my sister-in-law found them in Lexi's size right here in West Jordan and another Target.

Lexi was so surprised to get these and so excited.
She's worn them everyday since her birthday, even on Sunday to church.

Lexi loves owls. 

And she's had her eye on this owl backpack for a while now.

She actually was in the process of saving up her money for it.

 

Lexi also got a ton of sticky notes, pens and notebooks.

She loves office supplies!

 

After lunch and cake and ice cream we headed to the pool.

 

Right after we got back home it start poring!

Our parking lot looked like a river.

 

Lexi, Addie, Halle and Avery had a play date after swimming.

They had a good time just playing together and dressing up.
