A little before school got out, Lexi's school had an art show.
Lexi didn't have much on display because she was new
but she was so excited to show me her writing book.
May 21st was Lexi's last day of first grade.
This tradition schedule rocks!
Lexi's last day of school at her last school which was year round would have been July 3rd.
So she still wouldn't be out of school!
Here is Lexi on her last day with Mrs. Day.
I LOVED this teacher! She was so great with Lexi.
I'm so proud of how well Lexi did with the transition to her new school.
She amazed me!
And I'm so excited that she gets to go to the same school again next year.
I love her school and her principle.
To celebrate the start of Lexi's summer break and Sean's four day Labor Day weekend,
we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows with the fire pit Sean got for his birthday.
(Our unfinished backyard almost looks like the wilderness.)
I can't believe that almost a month has gone by since Lexi finished school.
I'm glad we still have lots of summer to enjoy!
