At the end of February, the kindergarten classes at Lexi's school put on an operetta.
This year's performance was The Little Mermaid.
The kids practiced their dances and learned their lines and the songs for months.
Lexi and Avery have been acting out The Little Mermaid daily.
Lexi was an eel dancer.

The morning of the operetta, Lexi threw up several times.
She came down with some sort of stomach bug.
I took her to school that day just for the assembly performance.
That night at the parent performance, Lexi did really well.
Especially considering the fact that she was sick.

Lexi is the teal eel.
Avery was so excited to watch the performance.
Lexi did great saying her line. She memorized in back in December when they gave it to her.
"Under the sea where the merpeople lived there was a beautiful mermaid named Ariel.
She lived with her father King Triton, ruler of the merpeople."
