Lexi gain more confidence as the season progressed.
She touched the ball more each game.
Here she is getting into the pack of kids and kicking the ball.
She is #3 and her cousin Parker is #6.
The season was later this year than last year.
And most of Lexi's Tuesday night games were at 6:30.
So, by the time the games were ending, the sun was setting.
Sean and my brother-in-law Justin coached a couple of the kids' games
while their coach, Hillary, was out of town.
Here are Sean and Justin getting the kids warmed up for the game.
Here's Lexi running the ball to the net.
Parker gets really into the game.
He's running his heart out in this next picture and Lexi is just watching him, with an expression that says, "What's he getting all excited about?"
The last few games have been chilly.
It's always windy at the soccer complex.
Here's my cute nephew Austin all bundled up.
The ref gave the ball to the wrong team and Parker was the only kid who notice.
He really pays attention to the details of the game.
In this picture he's trying to get the ref's attention.
Some action shots of Lexi.
Look at Parker run after the ball.
He runs with all his might. As do all the kids in this next picture. I love their expressions.
These two cousins are cute together.
It's been fun watching them on the field.
Sitting in his stroller for the whole game is hard for Eli.
Sometimes he just has to get out.
Austin wanted to get out of his stroller too.
Eli playing with his dad after the game.
Parker, determined to stop the other team from scoring.
Lexi hanging out with me on the sidelines while it's her turn to sit out.
Another action shot of Parker.
Lexi was so excited to get another trophy this year.
I love their smiles in this next picture. They look so happy.
Lexi with her coach, Hillary and Hillary's daughter, Presley.
Lexi had fun and improved a lot this season.
We're proud of her.
