We have been wanting to rip out the grass by our driveway for a while now.
And in August we finally did it.
We marked out the area and started ripping at the grass.
We did it all in two nights while the kids were sleeping.
We made a couple trips to Home Dept and to the local nursery to buy plants, top soil and bark.
We picked out the plant arrangement and then planted a few things everyday for a week.
Sean had to move a few sprinkler heads.
We found a line that the landscapers who put in our grass
cut and patched up and then didn't bury again deep enough.
We found random things that the builders and landscapers left in our yard,
like this piece of metal.
We made quite the transformation in a short amount of time!
