December 2018 - Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas Day!
Lexi and Avery woke up so early. Between 5:00 and 5:30.
Eli woke up on his own at his normal time.
But we eventually ended up waking up Ruby. And maybe Ty too, I can't remember.
Here are the girls helping get Ty ready.

Sean attempted to get a picture of all the kids together on the stairs but they were being cooperative.

Here's all the kids stockings and Santa gift.

They got umbrellas in their stockings too.

Instead of a robe, Ruby got a nightgown for her and her doll.

The kids were so excited to open these big boxes that were for Eli, Ruby and Ty.

They got chairs.

Lexi and Avery got wizard cloaks. I had them custom made by a friend who is a seamstress.
The girls were so excited.

Eli and Ruby got an Alexa for their bedroom.

Ruby got lots of doll stuff this Christmas.

Here's Eli opening his walkie talkies.

Avery got gel pens which she's been wanting for years.

Lexi got a little sewing kit.

She started using her kit that day.

Sean got the Kreg Jig tool that he's been wanting.

Eli got a remote control car.

Ty got several new board books.

Lexi's friend Madi made this for Lexi. The "H" stands for Hufflepuff and that's why it's yellow too.

Here's Ruby with several outfits for her baby dolls.
Why I didn't buy these years ago, I don't know.
We've had naked baby dolls for far too long.

Avery wanted another Luna Lovegood Funko Pop.

Lexi was so excited about her pink bunny slippers.

Ty got several packs of Match Box cars.

Lexi got the entire Land of Stories series.

Avery wanted some gymnastic and ballet things for her dolls.

Ruby got some pets for her dolls.

The girls and I all got cross stitch sets.

We got a Harry Potter movie trivia game. Lexi is especially good at it.

Lexi got the Hogwarts library books.

Eli's middle name is Bentley. So I was pretty excited to get him a Bentley car.

Eli got a Hufflepuff scarf. He was so excited.

Eli loves art. And he actually colored up this entire coloring book on Christmas day.

I got a digital picture frame.

We got some new puzzles.

Ty just happily played with his new cars all morning.

Ty got a big tow truck.

And Ty got a Scoot-a-long.

Eli got a little indoor wagon.

We got a Ring doorbell.

Ty got more books.

Andrea had our name in the Christensen sibling gift exchange.

She had a custom picture drawn of our house. It was the perfect gift and we just love it!

The kids thought it was hilarious that Sean got a gift wrapped in a princess Pull Up box.

Sean got a new jumpsuit to wear while he's working on projects.

Here's Lexi with all her new books. That's basically all she asked for this year.

Lexi got a quill and ink set.

Sean got a flag for his flag pole.

Here's all the kids ready to video chat with my mom so they can open their gifts from her.

We got a lazer tag set from my brother Ryan.

After my kids had opened all the presents, Sean brought in a big gift from the garage.
It was for the three girls.
They opened it together and found a bunch of Barbie furniture.
Then Sean brought in three large gift bags full of Barbies and accessories.
Then Sean brought in a huge Barbie house.
It used to be our neighbors and my girls have loved playing with it for years.
Their daughter grew out of it and we got it. My girls were so excited.
Ruby spent all afternoon upstairs playing with the Barbies.

The girls wore their cloaks all day long.

That afternoon my in-laws came over from Michelle's house.
We gave them their gifts. A hammock and a dog show puzzle.

We spent the afternoon playing games and watching Home Alone 2.

It was a fantastic Christmas at home. We feel so blessed.
