Washington Trip 2014 - Picnic Point

One afternoon we went to picnic point with my parents.
The kids loved playing on the beach.

I love this next picture because it shows Eli and Sean interacting.

This picture of Avery shows her personality so well. She is such a free spirit.

Eli was fascinated with the water and the waves.

The girls loved filling up buckets of water and bringing it to their sand castle.

Sean collected, at least, half a dozen crabs.

I love this picture of my dad chasing Eli. He's so good with my kids.
You can just tell that he loves being with them and truly adores them. He's the best grandpa!

My mom and the girls made this sand castle.

And Eli happily destroyed the sand castle.

Avery decided that she wanted to lay on Grandpa. She thought he was really comfortable.

Eli was so excited about all of the dogs at the beach but especially about this dog, Holly.
She is a Westie Poo, I think. Some sort of mix. A westie and a poodle, I believe.
She and Eli LOVED each other.
They just sat next to each other for 20 minutes. Eli fed her a cookie and pet her.
They were adorable together. I seriously wanted to bring this dog home with us.
Holly's owner was so amazed by Eli. She called Eli the "Dog Whisperer."

The beach was right next to a train track. We saw several trains go by. Eli was in heaven.

It was a great afternoon.
